You’ll support clients with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, mobility, and companionship per custom care plans. Training in dementia/Alzheimer’s care is available for caregivers seeking to broaden skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, car insurance and a reliable vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• First Aid/training for emergencies (provided if needed).
• Excellent time-management skills for multitasking.
• Reliable transportation to client homes as scheduled.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties as needed.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards.
• Compassion and desire to brighten each client's day.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help with light exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or incidents.
• Provide companionship and support.
• Respond promptly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Assist with mobility at home and during appointments.
