Job summary

Village Veterinary Center in Youngsville, LA is seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our AAHA-accredited, community-focused practice. We offer a salary of $100,000–$110,000 per year plus a sign-on bonus up to $30,000, with a team-driven environment and opportunities for mentorship and leadership development.

We provide modern diagnostics, flexible scheduling, and strong client relationships. DVM or VMD with LA licensure is required; all experience levels are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from AVMA-accredited program.
• Active or eligible LA veterinary license.
• DEA/BNDD eligibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose diseases or injuries.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results.
• Advise owners on preventive care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed.
• Provide counseling on end-of-life care.
• Maintain medical records and ensure compliance with ethics.
