Global Talent Partners is seeking an Associate Veterinarian in Lafayette, LA to join a well-established companion animal hospital. You’ll manage a broad caseload with strong clinical support and access to advanced diagnostics.

The role offers a competitive compensation package up to $160,000 with a sign-on bonus, relocation support, production opportunities and comprehensive benefits. Louisiana license and US work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent qualification
• Louisiana veterinary license or eligibility to obtain
• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Strong general medicine and diagnostic skills

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive wellness and medical examinations
• Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions
• Developing individualized treatment plans
• Utilizing in-house laboratory and imaging capabilities
• Performing routine soft tissue surgery
• Providing dental care
• Managing senior and chronic disease patients
• Providing pain management
• Educating clients on treatment options and preventative healthcare
• Maintaining accurate and timely medical records
• Prescribing and managing medications appropriately
• Collaborating closely with technicians, assistants and fellow veterinarians
• Contributing to a positive and supportive hospital culture
