Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a dedicated Caregiver for The Addison of Cornersburg in Ohio. This full-time position supports residents in the Assisted Living Program, helping with activities of daily living to promote dignity and a high quality of life.

You will assist with daily tasks, provide emotional support, and document resident care while following supervisor guidelines and ensuring a compassionate, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in senior care.
• English proficiency sufficient for job duties and emergencies.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in high stress situations.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance as needed with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
