Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Part-Time Resident Assistant in Assisted Living in Illinois to support residents with daily living activities, transportation to events, and safety within the community. You will follow care plans, observe and document progress, and work with the Resident Care team to provide compassionate, respectful service.

CPR certification is preferred; a high school diploma is required, and vaccination per policy is encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living such as grooming and bathing.
• Transport residents within the community to activities and dining.
• Respond to emergencies and resident/visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Review resident care plans and obtain vital signs.
