Job summary

Campbell Street in Wellman, IA is seeking an Assisted Living Attendant to join our compassionate care team. You will support residents with daily activities, mobility, meals, and personal care in a respectful, patient-centered environment.

Receive daily reports, help maintain a clean living area, assist with bathing, grooming, feeding, and routine transportation, and document observations to keep care teams informed. Previous health care experience preferred; 18+ years old required.

Qualifications

• Previous health care experience preferred
• Be at least 18 years old
• Good physical and mental health
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

Responsibilities

• Receive the daily report and assignment from the supervisor
• Help maintain a clean environment for residents
• Transport patients to support services
• Bathe or assist patients in bathing
• Perform or assist patients with personal grooming
• Assist patients in caring for and securing personal articles
• Change bed linen
• Assist with mealtime routine and feeding
• Provide hydration and nourishment
• Record observations and maintain charts
• Assist with elimination needs and incontinence care
• Assist moving and transferring residents
• Support activities of daily living (ADL)
• Observe and report unusual changes to the nurse
