Job summary

Whole Family Health Center in Florida seeks a compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our medical team. The APRN will provide patient-centered care, collaborate with physicians and staff, and support high-quality services across our clinics.

This full-time, exempt role offers a salary of $142,000 to $152,000 annually plus generous benefits, paid time off, and retirement options. Spanish and Creole language skills are a plus for serving our diverse community.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current APRN license.
• Current NP certification in applicable specialty area, if required.
• Current BLS provider certification.
• Eligible for hospital privileges.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive, age-appropriate histories and physical examinations for patients with acute, chronic, and complex healthcare needs.
• Assess health status, establish differential diagnoses, and develop individualized plans of care.
• Order and interpret laboratory, diagnostic, therapeutic, and radiographic studies.
• Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments.
• Educate patients and families and support informed healthcare decision-making.
• Provide coverage at other clinic locations occasionally, as needed.
• Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Provide clinical instruction and guidance to nursing staff.
