Animal Care of Davis County is seeking a Shelter Technician for the Davis County Animal Shelter in Fruit Heights, UT. The role includes daily cleaning, feeding, enrichment, and supporting adoptions, behavior care, and intake exams.

Qualifications

• Level I: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Level II: HS graduation or equivalent plus one (1) year of full-time employment in veterinary science or animal care.
• A combination of related education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Kennel and care for dogs and cats at the shelter.
• Provide food and water for animals.
• Clean cages, kennels, traps and transport carriers.
• Assist visitors to the shelter.
• Work with and around all types of animals and animal matter.
