Qualifikationen

• Previous experience working with patients in a medical setting.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program and Medical Assistant certification preferred
• Understanding of basic medical terminology
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times, stressful environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of EMR system
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Aufgaben

• Obtain vital signs including height/weight, BP, pulse, RR, temperature and O2 saturation
• Obtain spirometry and Niox testing with proper technique
• Understand the process of testing, diagnosis, treatment, and immunotherapy in allergy care
• Keep exam rooms stocked and clean
• Communicate with management on clinical, supply, HR, facilities or billing matters
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient interactions and provide visit-flow guidance
• Document activities in the EMR system
• Perform other duties as assigned
• May travel to other clinics as staffing needs demand
