Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is seeking compassionate healthcare assistants to support basic patient care across its facilities. You will record vital statistics, assist with daily living activities, and help prepare treatment areas under supervision.

This 36-hour-per-week, full-time role features three 12-hour shifts with every other weekend and holiday commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and equipment preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.

Responsabilités

• Record vital statistics and other basic health information.
• Administer basic health care and medical treatments and assist with daily living activities.
• Clean patient living areas or treatment rooms.
• Collect non-invasive biological specimens from patient.
• Prepare patient treatment areas and equipment; dispose of biomedical waste.
• Perform clerical duties related to scheduling and documentation.
• Demonstrate strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills daily.
• Provide one-on-one patient care when required for safe care.
