Wellstar Health System is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse to join an interdisciplinary team delivering individualized, high‑quality patient care in a clinical setting.

You will follow evidence-based practice, participate in governance, and mentor others while upholding professional ethics and standards. This role emphasizes patient voice, collaboration, and continuous improvement within a supportive organizational culture.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing, Bachelor's degree preferred.
• RN license (single state) or multi-state compact (nurse)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (and/or Instructor where applicable)
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process with evidence-based care and individualized planning.
• Provide patient-centered care sensitive to age, gender, and cultural diversity.
• Collaborate with patient and family using bedside reports, rounds, and education.
• Practice according to current clinical standards.
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality care in a collaborative team.
• Support performance improvement and shared governance across levels.
• Act as a preceptor/mentor to staff and students to develop a skilled workforce.
• Promote evidence-based practice and nursing research as part of care decisions.
• Develop protocols with care managers to improve outcomes and reduce readmissions.
• Comply with all Wellstar policies, standards, and safety requirements.
