Job summary

Hyatt Regency Phoenix is seeking a Server Assistant to support servers, keep dining areas clean, and assist in delivering an exceptional dining experience for guests.

You will work closely with servers, hosts, culinary teams, and management to ensure efficient service, guest satisfaction, and adherence to safety standards in a busy restaurant setting.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30-50 pounds.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers with delivering food, beverages, and guest requests in a timely manner.
• Clear, clean, and reset dining tables according to restaurant standards.
• Refill water, coffee, condiments, and other guest amenities as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining rooms, service stations, and side stations.
• Stock silverware, glassware, linens, and other service supplies throughout each shift.
• Support opening, closing, and side work duties.
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen colleagues regarding guest needs and special requests.
• Assist in maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries.
• Help create a welcoming, professional, and positive dining environment.

Position Summary
