About the Company: I am looking for traditional owner-operators. CDL Class A Dry van lanes are available from the Chicago market for serious candidates. 53' van trailers available for rent (2017 or newer), but owned trailers are welcome as long as they pass our inspection. Service/maintenance with priority scheduling and discounted pricing are available at Blue Island Truck Repair. Please contact me for more details. Job Summary:

• Contract Driver (1099, Solo)
• Dry Van OTR
• Gross weekly pay: $1,600 - $2,350
• CPM: $0.60 - $0.65
• Average miles per week: 2,500 - 3,500
• Sign on bonus: $250

Details:

• Dedicated, Line Haul
• No Driver Load/Unload
• Uniforms required
• Home Time: 2-3 days out, with options to stay longer; get 2 days home for every 7 days worked; home every weekend

Core Responsibilities:

• Vehicle, equipment, and cargo inspection for safety, legality, and security
• Submitting customer paperwork and deposits
• Maintaining a driver's log per DOT regulations
• Stacking, sorting, loading, and unloading cargo
• Daily customer interactions
• Availability for pickup and delivery schedules
• Maintaining a clean, safe work area

Orientation Details:

• Paid orientation
• Does not cover accommodation or travel expenses
• Drivers need their own room; breakfast included
• Orientation online or partly online

Hiring Requirements:

• Class A license without restrictions
• 2 years OTR experience
