CDL Class A Dry Van lanes are available from the Chicago market for serious candidates. 53' van trailers are available for rent (2017 or newer), but owned trailers are welcome as long as they pass inspection. Job Summary

Contract Driver (1099, Solo) Dry Van OTR

• Gross weekly pay: $1,600 - $2,350
• CPM: $0.60 - $0.65
• Average miles per week: 2,500 - 3,500
• Sign-on bonus: $250
• Type: Dedicated, Line Haul
• No Driver Load/Unload
• Uniforms required
• Home Time: 2-3 days out, with longer options; 2 days home for every 7 days worked, weekends off

Core Responsibilities

• Vehicle, equipment, and cargo inspection for safety, legality, and security
• Submitting customer paperwork including invoices, load orders, and reports
• Maintaining DOT-compliant logs
• Handling cargo stacking, sorting, loading, and unloading
• Customer interactions and relationship maintenance
• Availability to meet pickup and delivery schedules
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Orientation Details

• Paid orientation, does not cover accommodation
• Drivers arrange their own room; breakfast included
• Orientation partly or fully online; travel expenses not covered

Hiring Requirements

• Class A license without restrictions
• At least 2 years OTR experience
