The company nurse is responsible for providing onsite healthcare services to employees, promoting a safe and healthy work environment, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

• Assess and treat injuries and illnesses
• Conduct health screenings
• Manage medical records
• Educate employees on health and wellness

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and emergency care for workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Assess and treat minor injuries and illnesses.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or standing orders.
• Manage and monitor employees with chronic health conditions.
• Refer employees to external healthcare providers when necessary.
• Conduct pre-employment, annual physical exam, and return-to-work health assessments.
• Implement and manage health promotion and wellness programs.
• Participate in workplace safety inspections and hazard assessments.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
• Monitor and report on workplace injury and illness trends.
• Assist in developing and implementing occupational health and safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Registered Nurse (RN).
• At least 1 year experience as a company nurse.
• Administrative work background.
• Experience in occupational health nursing or related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Medical Excellent Communication Skills, PHRN, First-Aid, CPC Certification, Registered Nurse.
