Job Description

• Account: Target - Chicago, IL - Local. Dedicated Target fleet is hiring CDL A drivers now. This is a local, home-daily position offering consistent routes and reliable schedule. Drivers on this fleet operate condo trucks and dry van trailers.
• Schedule: Home Daily. Drivers work a 6-day week followed by a 34-hour reset, with the opportunity for set days off in the future. Night driving required.
• Compensation: Average Weekly: $1,538
• Equipment: Top-of-the-line automatic transmission trucks pulling 53' trailers.
• Freight: Deliveries primarily consist of 95% drop-and-hook freight and 5% requiring pallet jack paid unloading.
• Load type: Loads at some locations will be drop-and-hook, while others will involve live unloading or possibly live reloading.
• Delivery locations: Routes are local with the longest round trip being 91 miles. Drivers will pull a minimum of 2 loads per day.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• At least 21 years of age.
• Must have 3 months' experience driving a tractor-trailer in the last 12 months or as much time on the road for any period than off the road in the last 10 years. All experience must be verifiable T/T experience with at least a 40 foot trailer
• Drivers must have their own transportation to commute to work daily.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening (both urine and hair).
