Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Morenci is seeking a Company Housing Coordinator to administer housing operations for on-site employees. You will coordinate assignments, move-ins/outs, verify documents, manage waitlists, and input tenant data, with a focus on accuracy and policy compliance.

Where You Will Work

Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

What You Will Do

Administer and coordinate all aspects of company housing operations, including assignments,move-ins, transfers, and move-outs, in alignment with established policies and housing availability. Ensures the accuracy and compliance of housing applications, dependent qualifications, and required documentation while maintaining and monitoring the housing waitlist through completion. You will coordinate employee housing assignments, move-ins, transfers, and move-outs in alignment with housing availability and policies. In this role, you verify the accuracy of housing applications, dependent qualifications, and documentation requirements to obtain housing. Monitor housing waitlists, ensuring applications are reviewed, verified, and processed in a timely and accurate manner. As the Company Housing Coordinator, you input tenant information into housing systems, databases, and records while ensuring the accuracy of occupancy assignments and unit status. Assist employees with housing applications and lease language. Administer housing-related financial processes including rent setup and payroll deductions. Support reporting and tracking of operational metrics such as occupancy, unit availability, and service requests. Perform all other duties as assigned.

What You Bring To Freeport

• Two (2) or more years of experience in housing administration or property management

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years of experience in company housing or property management
• Working knowledge of housing policies and landlord‑tenant regulations
• Experience with housing management systems/property management software

What We Offer You

The estimated pay range for this role is currently$24.50 - $33.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job‑related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
