Job description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A Shuttle Driver to join our team. As a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight between terminals, drop-and-hook operations, and Less Than Truckload (LTL) deliveries. We are looking for individuals who have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination, including drop and hook operations

- Transport freight between terminals, customers, and other locations as assigned

- Perform LTL deliveries, including loading and unloading freight

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition

- Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, including hours of service, weight, and size restrictions

- Maintain accurate records, including logs, shipping documents, and other records as required

- Provide excellent customer service, including communicating with customers and resolving issues in a professional manner

- Collaborate with other drivers, dockworkers, and operations personnel to ensure efficient and safe operations

Organizational Relationships:

Has frequent contact and communicates continuously with all levels of employees and customers.

Qualification Guidelines

Experience/Training/Education:

Required: High school graduate or equivalent, plus minimum of 2 years’ experience.

Work Location: In person

This position is fully onsite at our Rancho Cucamonga, CA location and has a pay range of $26.00-$28.00 per hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
