• 3. Monitor and document driving hours and vehicle conditions in strict adherence to federal and company policies, ensuring regulatory compliance at all times.
• 4. Collaborate and communicate effectively with the dispatch team and other personnel to provide updates on delivery status, proactively address delays, and maintain alignment with operational goals.
• 5. Uphold UNIS’s standards for service, safety, and professionalism, fostering positive relationships with customers and furthering the company’s reputation as a premier logistics provider.

Minimum Requirements

• 1. Possess a valid Class A CDL with a minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience as a Class A CDL Driver.
• 2. A clean and acceptable DOT/Safety driving record with no major infractions or DUIs.
• 3. Meet or exceed the medical standards as mandated by the US Department of Transportation and hold a valid DOT Medical card.
• 4. In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, vehicle inspection, and maintenance requirements.
• 5. Successfully pass a drug and alcohol test, as well as a comprehensive background check, and provide employment references.

Preferred Requirements

• 1. Familiarity and experience operating both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• 2. Prior experience in LTL and FTL freight operations, demonstrating proficiency with terminal-to-terminal logistics.
• 3. A proven track record of safety and efficiency in handling freight transport, contributing to company and customer success.
