Job summary

CareBuilders at Home is seeking empathetic, reliable caregivers to provide companionship and assistance with daily activities in clients’ homes. You will support clients with light housekeeping, accompany them to appointments, and monitor health changes while maintaining privacy and dignity.

Qualifications include a TB test within 6 months, a High School diploma or GED, and a valid driver’s license if needed.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required; orientation completed for companion/sitter/respite services.
• TB test within the last 6 months.
• Six months of sitter/companion/respite experience preferred but not required.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.
• Ability to follow care plans and show empathy and reliability.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping: meals, laundry, tidying.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and outings.
• Monitor and report changes in health or behavior.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
