Job summary

Athena Health Care Systems is seeking a compassionate Companion II to join our care team in the Windsor Locks area. This on-the-road role offers $17.00 per hour with weekly pay, requiring a valid driver's license, insured vehicle, and ability to travel throughout the county.

Mileage is reimbursed. You will supervise safety, assist with daily living activities, and provide non-medical personal care including housekeeping, hygiene, and support for clients living with physical or cognitive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and listening skills.
• Strong oral and written communication in English.
• Ability to exercise good professional judgment and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care and housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders and transportation to appointments.
• Drive clients to outings or events and accompany them as needed.
• Monitor client health and report changes to the supervising team.
• Offer emotional and social support and assist with meal prep.
