Job Description:
Home care aides provide compassionate personal care and homemaker services for clients when appropriate and maintain a safe and healthy environment as directed by the individualized plan of care.
Training classes provided.
Free certification for Home Health Aide available.

Some of the duties you'll be asked to perform include:

1. Assist clients with light housekeeping and laundry
2. Assist clients to the bathroom if needed and/or getting dressed
3. Meal preparations
4. Medication reminders
5. Companionship - engaging in conversation, games, walks etc.
6. Observe, report, and document client status and care provided.
7. Practice basic infection control procedures.
8. Document changes in client status, and report to appropriate staff members.
9. Maintain a clean, safe and healthy environment in the client’s home.
10. Recognize emergencies and contact emergency personnel and supervisor when necessary.
11. Understand the physical, developmental and emotional needs of the populations served.
12. Treat the client and his/her property with respect.
