Job summary

ComForCare Home Health Care - Sarasota is seeking a dedicated Personal Care & Home Health Aide to join our team in Sarasota, FL. You will provide essential in-home care, assisting with daily activities, offering companionship, and supporting clients in maintaining independence and safety at home.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Aide (PCA), or Caregiver preferred.
• Valid HHA certification or CNA license a plus.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Support clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors.
• Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans.
• Accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
