Job summary

Joyful Companions Home Care in Minneapolis, MN is seeking dedicated caregivers to provide companionship and non-medical support to seniors. Roles include light housekeeping, meal prep, grocery shopping, transportation, and memory care.

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate caregivers to provide companionship and care for seniors. As a caregiver, you will perform a variety of tasks such as light housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal preparation, laundry, transportation, companionship, and memory care. We offer flexible shifts, ranging from 2-8 hours during the day, evenings, overnights, and 24-hour care.

Locations

We are hiring caregivers for daytime, evening, and weekend shifts in Minnetonka, South Minneapolis, Edina, Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Maple Grove, St. Louis Park, Richfield, Plymouth, Golden Valley, Hopkins, Wayzata, Richfield, Hopkins & Excelsior.

Requirements

• Reliable vehicle
• Current Minnesota driver's license
• Proof of current automobile insurance

• Good communication skills both verbally and written
• Ability to document services provided on a phone app
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
• Must be able to walk and/or stand for 30 minutes at a time
• Must work a minimum of 12 hours/week
• Must be available to work at least 4 days in a 7-day week
