Visiting Angels Corsicana is seeking a dedicated Companion Caregiver to support local seniors in Corsicana and nearby communities. You will provide companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and mobility assistance in clients' homes, promoting independence and dignity.

The role welcomes candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent, and those with first aid knowledge and strong communication and interpersonal skills. Training in dementia/alzheimer's care is offered as well.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about serving others and providing compassionate care.
• Knowledge of emergency response and basic first aid.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.

Responsabilités

• Help clients with light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility around the home or on outings.
• Provide personal care and hygiene support as needed.
• Assist with routine exercises and activity planning.
• Shop with or for clients and accompany them on errands.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as required.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents promptly.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
