Are you looking for a rewarding and fulfilling job that brings joy to both you and the seniors you support? We are seeking an exceptional Non-Medical Companion Caregiver to join our team and provide outstanding care for our beloved seniors.

Please note we do not require any certifications as we are non-medical and do not offer hands-on personal care to our clients.

We are especially in need of those who can work both Saturdays and Sundays.
Responsibilities:

  • Companionship Extraordinaire: Be the friendly face and warm presence that brightens the day of our seniors. Engage in conversations, play games, read books, or simply listen attentively to their stories.
  • Light Housekeeping: Keep our seniors' living spaces clean, organized, and comfortable. Assist with light housekeeping duties such as dusting, sweeping, and tidying up. Creating a serene environment promotes well-being.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare delicious and nutritious meals that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our seniors. Cooking skills and creativity are highly encouraged!
  • Transportation and Errands: Safely chauffeur our seniors to appointments, social outings, or shopping trips. Be their trusted companion and provide assistance with errands, ensuring their needs are met efficiently.
  • Medication Reminders: Support our seniors in managing their medication schedules, ensuring they take the right medications at the right times. Your gentle reminders will promote their well-being and independence.
  • Engagement: Plan and facilitate engaging activities that stimulate the mind and body of our seniors. From puzzles and board games to gentle exercises and walks in the park, your creativity will keep their spirits high.
  • Stand-By Support for Walking and Personal Hygiene: Offer assistance and ensure a safe environment when our seniors require support for walking, transfers, or personal hygiene. Respectful care and maintaining their dignity are paramount.

  • Qualifications:

    • A genuine passion for providing compassionate care to seniors.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, empathetic demeanor.
    • Reliable, punctual, and committed to your role as a trusted caregiver.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing situations.
    • Respect for seniors' privacy, dignity, and personal preferences.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Personal or Professional Experience
    • Ability to work at least 16-20 hours per week on a consistent schedule
    • Ability to push, lift, and pull up to 25 pounds
    • A valid driver's license and your own reliable, insured vehicle
    • Willing to undergo a background and driving record check
