Visiting Angels Montgomery is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Companion Caregivers. You will provide in-home care to seniors, offering companionship, assistance with daily activities, and support for mobility and transportation needs.

We offer opportunities for both full-time and part-time schedules in the Montgomery area. Training in dementia or Alzheimer's care is available to help you grow your care skills while making a meaningful difference in the community.

Qualifications

• Must have compassion and a true caregiver mindset.
• Excellent emergency response and first aid knowledge.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for working with seniors and families.

• Ability to follow safety and health standards.
• Willingness to maintain documentation and notes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medications.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility at home and during outings.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Support routine exercises and mobility activities.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Shop for clients or accompany them shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Provide a pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Report any unusual incidents promptly.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
