Job summary

Visiting Angels Montgomery is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to support seniors in Central Alabama, including Auburn and surrounding areas. You will provide companionship, assist with daily activities, and help maintain independence in a compassionate, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Passion to serve others and be a true caregiver.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Good time management and communication skills.
• Respectful, compassionate and ethical.
• Physical endurance and ability to assist with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients' input.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties and be a pleasant companion.
• Report any unusual incidents and act in emergencies.
