We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Companion Caregiver to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. Your role will involve enhancing their quality of life through various supportive tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Providing companionship and engaging conversation
• Assisting with personal hygiene and dressing
• Supporting mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Performing light housekeeping
• Reminding clients to take medications
• Running errands and shopping
• Educating family members on safe care techniques

Qualifications:

• Must reside within 15 miles of South Charleston, WV
• Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role preferred
• First aid and CPR certification preferred
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping and cooking skills
• Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Tolerance of small pets
• Compassionate, respectful, and ethical
• Hoyer lift experience preferred
