We are hiring a companion aide for our female client in the Hatfield area. No experience is required; full training is available.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Demonstrate ability to read, write, and follow written instructions.
• Be self-directed and work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrate dependability, tact, patience, and the ability to follow instructions.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal communication skills.
• Show compassion and empathy toward the elderly, sick, and disabled.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

• Function within the limitations of the individual assignment.
• Provide supervision and companionship activities that promote the client’s well-being. Typically, services do not involve hands-on care such as bathing and dressing.
• Attend to the client's requests promptly.
• Provide companionship, socialization, and light housekeeping services.
• Assist with food preparation when included in the Aide Care Plan.
• Treat clients and families with respect and maintain confidentiality.
• Accept and fulfill assignments with the Agency, exercising judgment in accepting assignments.
• Attend required in-service programs per Agency policy.
