A Ph.D. or D.V.M./V.M.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. and/or D.V.M./V.M.D. in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or related field.
• Areas of expertise may include nutrition, physiology, reproduction, genetics, disease, behavior, or related disciplines.
• Experience with experiential learning and youth programs desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in companion animal teaching and youth outreach within undergraduate education.
• Develop and deliver Extension and outreach programs focused on companion animal science.
• Mentor undergraduates, advise student clubs, and collaborate with Penn State Extension and external stakeholders.
