Senior Helpers is looking for Companions for a variety of day shift hours, starting from 2-hour visits up to 6-hour shifts. We provide care in Assisted Living, Senior Living, Nursing Homes, as well as Residential In-Home Care.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
• Ability to pass Criminal Background Check
• TB Test: 2 Step PPD, Quantiferon, or a Chest X-Ray
• Social Security Card
• Ability to work with male and female clients
• Comfortable with cats and dogs
• Comfortable with clients that smoke
• Ability to take clients out in personal vehicle for errands, appointments, outings, and procedures when required

Job Duties

Job duties are subject to change based on clients' personalized care plans but include:

• Driving
• Having a reliable, clean car
• Engaging in conversations
• Housekeeping: dusting, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms
• Cooking: preparing meals for clients
• Enjoying interaction: playing games, coloring, listening to music, reading aloud
