Job summary

Freedom Pointe at The Villages is seeking Private Duty Companions to provide compassionate assistance in residents' homes and on campus. Per diem roles involve daily activities, companionship, and discreet documentation of care as needed.

Some clients are on campus and others off campus; training and flexible scheduling are available, with emphasis on dignity, respect, and safety for aging adults.

Qualifications

• CPR certification current or upon hire.
• Ability to read and follow care instructions and document services provided accurately.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Compassionate, dependable, and respectful toward residents.
• Experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily activities support and companionship to seniors.
• Assist with errands, light housekeeping, pet care, transportation and home organization.
• Document services provided accurately for each client.

This is a Private Duty - Companion position. Some clients are on campus, and some are off campus in their homes.
