Job summary

United Methodist Communities HomeWorks in Northern New Jersey is seeking compassionate companions to join our per diem care team. You will escort clients to appointments, assist with errands, social activities, light housekeeping, and meal preparation while following care plans from our nursing team.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, being 18 or older, reliable transportation, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and share meals to encourage social connection.
• Follow care plans and report changes or safety concerns to nursing team.
