Affinity Home Care is a boutique concierge agency providing in-home care services throughout New York City and Long Island!

We are hiring compassionate & dedicated CAREGIVERS & COMPANIONS to provide non-medical support to our clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s)
2. Helping the client with bathing, grooming, and hygiene
3. Dressing and undressing the client
4. Toileting and incontinence care
5. Mobility Assistance (transferring, walking support)
6. Household Support
7. Light Housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying rooms)
8. Meal Preparation and feeding assistance
9. Grocery shopping and errands
10. Pet care (if needed)
11. Companionship
12. Engaging in conversation
13. Participating in hobbies and activities
14. Providing emotional support and social interaction
15. Accompanying the client to appointments or outings
16. Medication Reminders
17. Reminding (but not administering) medications according to schedule
18. Safety and Supervision
19. Monitoring for safety hazards
20. Helping prevent falls
21. Ensuring a secure environment
22. Communication and Reporting
23. Updating family members on the client’s well-being
24. Reporting changes in health or behavior to supervisors or family

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a companion/caregiver (preferred)
2. Reliable Transportation
