Job summary

Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners in Carterville, IL is seeking a full-time technician for the SNP Carterville location to diagnose, service, and repair compact construction equipment in shop and field settings under the CCE Mobile Service Manager. Day shift option with safe, efficient repairs.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience with heavy or compact equipment; a Diesel Technology-related associate degree is preferred, with 4+ years of overall equipment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience with heavy equipment or compact construction equipment.
• Preferred: Associate degree in related field (Diesel Technology).
• 4+ years of experience with Heavy Equipment and Compact Construction Equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair compact construction equipment, with emphasis on hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems.
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently; service reports, allocation of time, and tracking parts charged and returned.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by ensuring customer needs and deadlines are met.
• Complete all scheduled repairs in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure equipment and parts areas are in excellent, safe operating condition.
• Adhere to all safety rules and maintain quality housekeeping in shop area.
• Maintain equipment and supplies to avoid waste, prevent accidents, and damage to personnel and equipment.

Responsibilities

This position will perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned compact construction equipment. Repairs will take place in shop and in field with direction from the CCE Mobile Service Manager.

• Diagnose and repair compact construction equipment, with emphasis on hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently; service reports, allocation of time, and tracking parts charged and returned
