Compensation Analyst (1-3 Years’ Experience)

Location: New York City (Onsite)
Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 base + bonus

We are working exclusively with a prestigious global investment firm to identify a high-potential Compensation Analyst to join their early-career rotational program, with an initial focus on compensation. This is a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, high-performing environment while building foundational knowledge across multiple HR disciplines.

This role is ideal for a motivated early-career HR professional with 1-3 years of compensation experience, seeking to develop strategic and operational skills across a range of human capital areas. The program offers exposure to senior stakeholders and includes three 12-month rotations in key HR functions, including:

  • Compensation

  • People Operations

  • Learning & Development

  • Campus Recruiting

  • Benefits

  • HR Business Partnering

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Support annual HR processes such as year-end compensation cycles, performance management, and engagement surveys.

  • Assist in the design and execution of compensation strategy and analysis.

  • Provide operational support across the employee lifecycle, including mobility, internal transfers, and data audits.

  • Collaborate with People Teams to ensure global consistency of HR practices.

  • Engage directly with leaders across investment and business functions.

  • Take full ownership of projects-executing from start to finish.

What You Bring:
  • 1-3 years of Compensation experience, ideally with exposure to compensation processes.

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Psychology, Business, or related field.

  • A detail-oriented mindset with analytical ability and interest in data-driven decision-making.

  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

  • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., Workday, Anaplan, ServiceNow, Tableau) is a plus.

  • Interest in a career in compensation or broader HR leadership.
