MIWRC in Minneapolis is hiring a Community Wellness Coordinator to launch and oversee the new Community Wellness & Prevention Program. Strong Futures.The Minnesota Indian Women's Resource Center (MIWRC) is launching its new Community Wellness & Prevention Program, bringing together family wellness, prevention, public health education, community engagement, and health promotion under one coordinated initiative.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and relationship-centered Community Wellness Coordinator to help build this exciting new program from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to create lasting community impact by coordinating culturally responsive wellness initiatives that strengthen Native individuals, families, and communities.
The Community Wellness Coordinator serves as MIWRC's lead coordinator for integrated community wellness initiatives supported through multiple public and private grant awards. Current program initiatives include:
Working collaboratively with Native families, Elders, youth, Tribal Nations, healthcare providers, schools, public health agencies, and community organizations, the Coordinator will develop and implement innovative wellness strategies that improve health outcomes while strengthening community relationships.
