Job summary

Jasper County School District is seeking a Community Member Tutor to provide instructional support to students in Ridgeland and Hardeeville. This role focuses on reinforcing classroom learning and helping students develop academic skills and confidence.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate’s Degree or higher and will assist students with assignments, monitor progress, and promote a positive learning environment. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills and experience working with children.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children or in an educational setting is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of instructional strategies and academic support methods.
• Familiarity with grade-level subject matter.

Responsibilities

• Provides academic support and reinforcement in designated subject areas.
• Assists students in completing assignments, projects, and practice activities.
• Monitors student progress and provides feedback to teachers and supervisors.
