Job summary

Immanuel invites an experienced Driver to support Pathways Southwest Iowa in Council Bluffs, IA. The role involves safe, timely transportation of participants and supporting meals, equipment, and pharmacy deliveries, under the Transportation Supervisor.

Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with flexible start/end times. Compensation is up to $23.36 per hour, based on experience, certifications, and education, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver's license is required.
• In Iowa, Chauffeur's license will be required prior to hire.
• CDL certificate may be required depending on location.
• CNA certificate may be required depending on location.
• Must be able to successfully pass a DOT Medical Exam and obtain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and timely transportation of Immanuel Pathways participants, under the supervision of the Transportation Supervisor.
• Transport meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy, and other items as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle daily.
• Communicate safety issues to Transportation Supervisor.
• Be capable of transporting individuals with special mobility needs.
