Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 48 college credits required.
• Passing score of 461 on the ParaPro Test.
• Ride Certification: Teacher Assistant Training Program Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers and staff to support lesson plans and develop student skills in areas such as vocation, social, leisure, and ADL.
• Assist students in developing pre-employment and employment skills and preparing for postsecondary success.
• Maintain confidential and non-confidential records of activities and outcomes.
• Monitor student performance and safety at work sites and during program activities.
• Participate in meetings, workshops, and professional development.
