Job Overview

This position involves monitoring a residential program for individuals experiencing homelessness, maintaining safety, engaging empathetically with residents, managing conflicts, screening visitors, documenting incidents, managing supplies, and assisting with inspections, audits, and facility maintenance. The role requires mandatory overtime and offers full-time hours.

Hours

Full-time 37.5 hours per week, Thursday-Monday 7am-3:30pm.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • CPR Certification or willingness to obtain
  • NYC Fire Safety Guard Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Preferred certifications: Fire Safety Coordinator, Security Guard, Food Handler (willing to attempt certification)
  • TB clearance when required
  • Experience with homelessness preferred; effective communication skills; basic computer literacy; bilingual abilities a plus; vaccination preferred but not required.
