We have a number of different PERMANENT PART-TIME opportunities for experienced Community Support Workers.

1. We are seeking Community Support Workers living in the Rockingham, Waikiki, Shoalwater, Warnbro, and Safety Bay areas.

You ideally can work Monday to Friday, between 9am (or 10am) to 5pm (essential days are Thursdays and Fridays), and must be able to work until 5pm.

2. Community Support Workers living in the Mandurah and surrounding areas, working Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm.

About the role:

You will visit our elderly clients in their private homes, assisting them to live independently by supporting with daily tasks, social access, and companionship. Responsibilities include:

• Providing quality care in accordance with each client's Care Plan and care package
• Personal care such as showering, dressing, and continence care
• Facilitating community access opportunities
• Providing cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation services
• Completing documentation and reports

Our friendly Brightwater At Home team will provide all necessary training and support to help you succeed as a Community Support Worker.

About you and what you will need:

• Comfort working independently and a genuine care for clients
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with diverse backgrounds
• An empathetic, considerate, and client-focused approach
• Problem-solving skills and flexibility without direct supervision
• Certificate III in Aged Care/Disability (desirable)
• A current First Aid Certificate (less than 3 years old) or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks
• A Western Australian driver’s license (essential)
• A reliable, insured car (essential)
• A satisfactory National Police Clearance issued within the last year
