  • Fixed Rate $19.50
  • This is NOT a group home position

Job Description
The Emergency Response Community Support Staff (CSS) is a pivotal position for services provided to an individual in his or her own home. Staff will use their personal vehicle for response transportation and will receive mileage reimbursement. They will primarily provide emergency response services, but may also offer in-home support when needed. CSS is responsible for duties of the supervisor during all direct care shifts across service settings. Staff should be knowledgeable of various service environments and may work in both residential and community-based settings. Responsibilities include:

  • Provide in-person emergency mental health response to individuals in crisis.
  • Provide direct support in both in-home and community settings.
  • Create, edit, and implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs).
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Hours: Evening schedule available. This role involves both office work and on-the-road response.

Qualifications

  • Experience with ICS (Integrated Community Supports) or HCBS (Home and Community Based Services).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and openness to learning or experience handling crisis situations.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health diagnoses and crisis intervention preferred.
  • Experience providing remote support and verbal counseling preferred.
  • Must have a smartphone, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing suicidal ideations and other crises.
  • Flexible, with good communication skills.
