What You’ll Do
- Meeting clients in their homes and community to build trust and connection
- Conducting career assessments that focus on individual strengths, skills, and interests
- Helping develop or revise resumes, practice interviews, and identify job leads
- Supporting onboarding and training with new employers
- Providing ongoing coaching to promote job retention and personal growth
- Attending team meetings, writing progress reports, and maintaining clear communication
- Creating positive, lasting impact—one job, one goal, one success at a time
This hybrid role includes in-person and remote work, with up to two days per week working from home based on service needs. Mileage for work-related travel is reimbursed.
What You Bring to the Table
Qualifications
- Must meet requirements of a Designated Coordinator
- High school diploma or GED plus at least 4 years of experience providing direct care or support to individuals with disabilities or older adults or
- Associate degree in human services, education, or a related field plus at least 2 years of experience providing direct care or support to individuals with disabilities or older adults or
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, education, or a related field plus at least 1 year of experience providing direct care or support to individuals with disabilities or older adults
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, or lift
Skills & Abilities
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with internal and external team members
- Experience teaching, coaching, or mentoring individuals in employment-related skills
- Knowledge of the job market and hiring process
- Demonstrates integrity by maintaining confidentiality and following organizational policies
- Highly organized, flexible, and able to manage multiple tasks or unexpected demands professionally
- Fluency in ASL, Spanish, Hmong, Somali, or Oromo preferred
- Proficient with using technology for documentation
