Job summary

Kentucky River Community Care is hiring for a Community Support Associate position in Wolfe County Outpatient & Schools. This Regular Full Time role supports individuals to live independently in community settings and works Monday–Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

The ideal candidate holds a High School/GED and has at least one year of full-time experience supporting individuals with Mental Health disorders or co-occurring conditions. Training must be completed within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• One year full-time experience working with individuals receiving services for treatment of a Mental Health Disorder and/or co-occurring disorder.
• Must complete an approved training program within six months of hire.
• Regular full-time position with Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm shift.

Responsibilities

• Conduct activities to enable individuals to live with maximum independence in community-integrated housing.
• Support successful community living through skill training, cueing, or supervision as identified in the treatment plan.
• Teach skills such as medication reminders, parenting, accessing resources, emotional regulation, coping, shopping, transportation, budgeting, and interpersonal skills.
• Meet the requirements for comprehensive community support services established in 908 KAR 2:250.
