Compass Health, Inc. is seeking a Community Support Specialist to help individuals in crisis access mental health, medical, financial, and housing services within Missouri's ER Enhancement program.

• Must qualify for position based on CSS requirements in at least one option.
• Qualified addiction professional; Bachelor’s degree in a human services field from a college or university in the U.S.
• Qualifying experience must include delivery of service to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities.

Support Recovery at a Critical Point as a Community Support Specialist – ERE
Full-time, benefit eligible position. 40 hours weekly.

As a Community Support Specialist, you’ll be the connection point between emergency care and long-term recovery, helping individuals stabilize, access services, and re-engage in their communities.

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

High School/GED required

Associates or bachelor’s degree in a human service related field preferred

QUALIFICATION(S): WORK EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Must qualify for position based on overall CSS requirements in at least one of the options

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field from a college or university included in the U.S.

Department of Education’s database of accredited schools at http:/ope.ed.gov/accreditation;

• Any four-year degree or combination of higher education and qualifying experience;
• Four years of qualifying experience; or
• Associate of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support degree as designated by the Department of Mental Health.

Qualifying experience must include delivery of service to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, or developmental disabilities.

A valid driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required
