Job description

Community Support Program — Justice Involved (CSP-JI)

Ignite Recovery | Full-Time | 35–40 hrs/week

The Role

This is community-based service coordination. You connect members to care, help them stay in the community, and address the barriers — including criminogenic ones — standing between them and stability. You're not a clinician and not a corrections officer — you're the person who understands both worlds and works the space between them.

Who You Are

A paraprofessional with a bachelor's degree in a related field, or lived experience in recovery or past justice involvement. You understand the justice system and behavioral health, and you know how to help someone navigate both — assertively, and with trauma-informed care.

You believe recovery is always possible, that people deserve dignity over judgment, and that justice involvement doesn't define someone's future.

Multilingual and multicultural candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

What You Do
  • Engage members through outreach and follow-up to maintain community tenure.
  • Develop and update a CSP-JI Service Plan addressing criminogenic needs, recovery goals, and behavioral health — coordinated with probation/parole so plans don't conflict.
  • Connect members to behavioral health providers, MAT, and community supports; coordinate with parole/probation officers, correctional institutions, and BH-JI providers as needed.
  • Address barriers — housing, employment, transportation, benefits, childcare.
  • Maintain at least 4 contacts per member every 30 days (1+ in-person).
  • Support discharge planning from day one, including a safety plan and written aftercare plan.
  • Document all contacts and progress; report Reportable Adverse Incidents within 1 business day.
  • Protect confidentiality, follow safety protocols, and participate in supervision and ongoing training.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, criminal justice, or related field — OR lived experience in recovery or past justice involvement.
  • Knowledge of the justice system, re‑entry/probation/parole processes, and behavioral health systems.
  • Trauma‑informed, culturally humble, comfortable with electronic documentation.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, auto insurance, personal smartphone.
  • Must meet EOHHS-approved training requirements, including annual training on justice‑involved populations.
What You Get

Competitive pay, full benefits (PTO, 401(k), ESP), twice‑yearly team events, and growth through our Tiered Career Ladder.

Schedule & Compensation

Full‑time | $19–$21/hour | 35–40 hrs/week. In‑office, community‑based, and virtual. Some evenings/weekends and local travel required.
