Job summary

OHI Inc is seeking a dedicated CSP to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who live semi-independently in the community. You will teach daily living and work skills, administer medications and first aid, and help coordinate medical appointments.

You will also maintain detailed records, safeguard residents’ resources, and uphold OHI’s values and policies in all interactions. This is a full-time, on-site role with health and life insurance, paid orientation and training.

Job description

The position involves the support of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are living semi-independently in the community.

About the role:

The CSP is responsible for teaching daily living, communication, and work skills, administering medications and first aid, providing safe transportation, assisting with, or coordinating medical and other support service appointments, maintaining accurate and detailed documentation and records, safeguarding the money and personal resources of people supported, and implementing the philosophy, policies, and procedures of OHI.

Training and Certifications

OHI provides all of the training and certifications required to hold this position, and we pay new staff to complete the training. This includes Direct Support Professional training, CRMA, non-violent crisis prevention and intervention, and more!
