Job summary

Northeast Arc's Guided Personal Supports (GPS) program seeks a Community Support Coach to provide 1:1 in-home and community-based support for adults with developmental disabilities, working with DDS. You will help individuals build skills in community integration, daily living, and social engagement to promote independence.

Responsibilities include accompanying clients to community locations, documenting progress, and maintaining confidentiality under agency policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must successfully complete and pass all required background checks as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home and community-based support for adults with developmental disabilities.
• Accompany and support individuals in accessing community locations such as grocery stores, libraries, theaters, restaurants.
• Safely assist and support clients in goal-directed activities such as light physical activity, arts and crafts, and cooking.
• Complete required documentation and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner; clock in/out using required technology.
